SungBeats is a beatbox, live vocal looping champion from NYC who has been exploring music with the voice for two decades. Equipped with nothing but a microphone and a loop pedal, Sung uses his mouth to create engaging, high energy music by layering vocal percussion and sound effects live with his voice. From hip hop, to house, to electronic dance music, to Billboard charting singles, Sung does it all - literally with his mouth.
SungBeats is the 1st place winner of the 2014 Season of the Apollo Theater, the historic talent contest at the world renowned Apollo Theater known for launching the careers of many music icons. SungBeats is the 2018 American Loopstation Beatbox Champion and has represented the United States at the Grand Beatbox Battle in 2021.
Sung performs all around the country, bringing his unique talent to audiences of all demographics. He believes he has only scratched the surface in terms of what can be done with the voice and is excited to share his musical journey as it develops and unfolds with the rest of the world.
